  • Develop patterns for your unique creations.
  • Craft a stunning sample collection featuring nine distinct designs.

Course Outline

1. Fashion Illustrations and Design Creation:

  • Start with mood boards, theme boards, and colour boards.
  • Translate your ideas into captivating fashion illustrations and technical drawings.

2. Design Selection and Sampling:

  • Choose 8, 10, or 12 designs for your collection.
  • Create samples to visualize your concepts.

3. Understanding Scale, Patterns, and Fabrics:

  • Explore the impact of scale on garment design.
  • Dive into pattern selection and fabric knowledge.

4. Detailed Body Measurements and Pattern Development:

  • Master precise body measurements for custom fits.
  • Develop patterns using basic blocks for upper and lower body, sleeves, and fans.

5. Creative Styling and Manipulations:

  • Learn various styling techniques using foundational blocks.
  • Experiment with design manipulations.

6. Cutting and Finishing Techniques:

  • Bring your designs to life by cutting and sewing.
  • Achieve polished finishes for your 8, 10, or 12 garments.

7. From Concept to Final Collection:

  • Create your entire collection—from scratch to the runway.
