Montfort Boys Town

We delivered a motivational talk at Montfort Boys Town, a full-residential vocational training institution in Shah Alam, Selangor, dedicated to helping underprivileged and challenged youths gain real-life skills and character formation. Established in 1959 and managed by the Brothers of St. Gabriel, Montfort has long been a beacon of opportunity. Alongside its boys’ programs, the institution also includes a small group of girls who pursue vocational training, including sewing, whose impressive work we had the chance to witness. Our talk aimed to inspire these young learners to pursue their skills with confidence, resilience, and a vision for a brighter future.

Mid Valley Education Fair

June 2024

We proudly joined the Mid Valley Education Fair in June 2024, specifically the Sureworks Education & Further Studies Fair (Series 58), held over two weekends at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur. As one of Malaysia’s largest education fairs, it featured top universities, colleges, scholarships, and career guidance, serving as a “one-stop” platform for SPM, STPM, UEC, IGCSE leavers, and working adults exploring pathways from diploma to PhD. Amidst leading Malaysian institutions, setting up a booth for our small school was a significant achievement, showcasing our commitment to providing quality vocational education. This milestone highlighted our growing presence and the relevance of our programs in the broader education landscape.

IGB International School (IGBIS)

We conducted a career talk at IGB International School (IGBIS), one of Malaysia’s leading private international schools offering the full continuum of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes from Early Years to Grade 12. The session introduced students to the diverse career opportunities available in fashion and design, extending beyond traditional pathways. Its relevance was further strengthened by the fact that IGBIS also offers programmes in design, making the discussion directly connected to the students’ academic interests. By highlighting innovation, sustainability, and global opportunities, the talk encouraged students to view fashion as a dynamic industry with meaningful impact. This initiative aligned with IGBIS’s mission to prepare students for future-ready, international careers.

Ideas International Secondary School in Malaysia

Ideas International Secondary School in Malaysia is an inclusive and affordable institution offering the Cambridge curriculum to a diverse student body, including local, international, and UNHCR refugee students. We conducted an educational talk at the school to broaden students’ perspectives on the fashion and design industry. The session highlighted the wide range of career opportunities available beyond traditional pathways, encouraging students to see fashion not only as creative expression but also as a field with global relevance and impact. This initiative aimed to inspire them to pursue innovative, sustainable, and future-ready roles in the industry.
